Blog Update Yaani Life Update!

It has been a while since I've been away from blogging. Thanks to a very busy schedule and my assignment with the Broken Scooter. Genuinely speaking, the magazine happened to me last July or August when I had returned from a crazy road trip. Thereafter, I got to meet a lot of great people with whom I got to work on lots of amazing stuff, out of the box projects (that some of them couldn't see the light of the day is another story altogether =P ) and I can so so go on about this! Since the last few months have been utter crazy, here is a pick of the best of the things that I've done or been a part of (not in chronological order).

The Broken Scooter materializes in a epilogue to a two-month viral campaign on Facebook. The buzz is all over the city. Apart from the fact that we felt like gods at that time, the whole team was happy and overwhelmed with the response. The first few days from the launch were so crazy that statistics-wise, every minute people from 20 different computers visited us. We celebrated this by cutting the largest burger in town!

Took a trip to one of the most virgin beaches of this country.Po da, won't say you the directions!

Thanks to the cool people at MTV, we got to meet Mr. Jose Covaco. Famously known as VJ Jose/ @HoeZaay. In real life, he isn't even close to his funny side up on television. What a humble man!

Shot my second short film, one thing led to another and I ultimately had my first national screening in 2011. *fistpump*

After all of this, now my life is going to get a little monotonous since it would not get any more busier. For I shall be leaving town to prepare for my CAT for the next two months. Bhubaneswar as a city has given me so much. My first crush, first love, first college, first fight, first traffic ticket ~ like a potter who would mold a vase, my being has been very much mold by my life and times in this city. This will be the first time I would be out of my hometown for such a long time. *sigh*

Why can't I prepare here? Too much of distractions. My folks feel that it is in the best interest for me if I go, prepare up in peace and come back. Till today, I used to love my college. The reason being that we used to even get to clear our semesters with almost zero-attendance in lectures. Since it is a government college, no one gives a flying fuck about what courses you take, what you don't. There have been times when we used to sneak in to lecture halls of the some other department for bird watching and mischief-mongering.
Now, the same thing is facilitating my departure and I don't have this excuse that, "Hey ma! You see I've lectures to attend. Do you think leaving now is a good option?"
Damn you college, me hates! >_<
Moreover I just realized that this is the final year of college. Just a couple of months away and then each one of us goes on their own. Not that I'd be losing a LOT of friends of college, it's just that I've haven't made many. Kya karein, Introvert Shintrovert type ke jo thehre! But yeah, there are still a couple of 'em with whom I would love to grab a beer with, even ten years from today.
If you are reading this, you know you are. So cheers to you!
